The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), New Delhi present a unique chance for students to interact with Mr. John Foley. Mr. Foley is Lead Solo of the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron, Stanford Business School Fellow, and Entrepreneur and CEO of CenterPoint Companies.

Teams from SP Jain, Mumbai and SJMSOM, IIT Powai are amongst the top 8 finalists at Cerebration 2006, an international B-school challenge that combines a business plan and business case study. The two teams will now participate in the two-day grand finale to be held in Singapore on March 26 and 27.

All 8 teams will make first round presentations on March 26. Of these 8 teams, 6 will qualify for the second and final “twister” round. The Cerebration 2006 Grand Finals are scheduled for March 27 2006.

The annual festival at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai brings together students from best B-schools and corporate houses. Prayaag provides an opportunity for managers to bring their vision, ideas and innovations back to the B-school through the case study competition. Prayaag is a forum for professionals, academicians and students to discuss the management issues of today.

The Wadhwani Center for Entrepreneurship Development at  Indian School of Business, Hyderabad is organizing a conference on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Regions from December 13–15, 2006. The event is co-sponsored by the Journal of Business Venturing, and Batten Institute, Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.

Participants are invited to submit papers on the theme. Successful authors will be invited to present their papers at the conference. The paper can be on any theme that explores the relationship between entrepreneurship and the growth and development of the emerging regions.

The last date for submission of papers is Friday, June 30, 2006.

IIM Kozhikode is organizing a two-day conference on competitiveness. The aim of this event is to:
